Article 42.12, Section 13(h), Code of Criminal Procedure requires person convicted of first offense DWI and receiving probation, to attend and successfully complete an educational program certified by the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. Failure to complete the program within 180 days (unless an extension was granted) from the date probation was granted will result in the offender’s license being revoked. The license cannot be reinstated until the educational program is completed. The standardized program is 12 hours in length.

Our state approved DWI Education program will assist you with meeting court requirements. Our program has three clear objectives for each participant:

1. To gain knowledge about the effects of alcohol and other drugs on driving skills.
2. To identify the risk factors associated with a drinking/drugged driving pattern.
3. To develop a plan of action to reduce the chance that you will be involved in future DWI behavior.

DWI Education of Southeast Texas will cover these objectives and much more during our standardized DWI Education program. Earn your certificate in 3 days after you complete 12 hours of classroom instruction.

We welcome you to register for any and all programs that meet your needs. We are here to help you and to assist with resolution of your personal situation!
