How do I register for a course?

To register for any of our courses simply find the course you would like to attend by using the main menu or the footer menu. You will see a full description of the course. Below the description you can search for your desired date/time. When you find a date and location that meets your needs simple click the “Enroll Now” button.

Is attendance for all course sessions mandatory?

Yes. All sessions have mandatory attendance requirements. The course you select and register for must be taken in sequential order (Session 1, Session 2, Session 3) and on consecutive days (3 CONSECUTIVE days for DWI-Education class and 5 CONSECUTIVE days for DOEP class) to meet state requirements. No missed sessions are allowed. If a participant misses a session, he/she will have to start again in a different course, beginning with Session One and will have to pay a new registration class fee for new course.

What happens once I have made my payment?

As soon as you have made your payment after checkout, a confirmation email will be sent with further instructions.

Can I register in-person at one of your locations?

All course registration must be completed online. We are not accepting in-person registration at this time.

If I live in a different city or county, will it be approved to take this course?

Yes, our DWI & DOEP COURSES ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE STATE OF TEXAS and we are APPROVED by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). If you live outside of Texas and need assistance with selecting the right course or completing your registration, first speak to your attorney, probation officer, parole officer, or court clerk. Attending Courses

Why are there 4 prices?

We have a four tier payment schedule. By booking 30 - 60 days or more in advance of the 1st day of your selected course, you will save up to 50%! The later you book (including on the day) the more you pay.

Do you provide Court Ordered Offender Education Programs?

Yes, we are a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) licensed Educational Program Provider that offers courses in Drug Offender Education (DOEP), DWI-Education (DWI-E), DWI- Intervention (DWI-I), and Alcohol Education for Minors (AEPM). Our state-issued Certificates of Completion are ACCEPTED by courts, probation, parole, and DPS entities.

What if I am unsure which course to attend?

If you need assistance selecting the right course or completing your registration, first speak to your attorney, probation officer, parole officer, or court clerk. If you need further assistance with your registration, contact us(281) 215-4106.

What time should I arrive or log into my first class?

It is mandatory to report one hour prior to your class start time on the first day of class.

Where are you located?

We have multiple locations across the state of Texas. When registering online you can determine which location is closest to you by selecting from the following Texas Regions below: CENTRAL REGION/ NORTH REGION/ PANHANDLE REGION/ SOUTH REGION/ SOUTHEAST REGION/ WEST REGION

I don't have my Texas Driver License/ID. What is acceptable for my Photo ID?

Other options include your Passport, Work, School, Out-of-State, or Membership ID containing your photograph so the instructor can verify who is registered for and taking the class.

Will DWI Education of Southeast Texas provide auxiliary aids and services?

Yes, DWI Education of Southeast Texas will provide appropriate auxiliary aids and services needed for effective communication with people with disabilities.

How do I request a reasonable accommodation or auxiliary aids and services?

Yes, anyone can request a reasonable accommodation or auxiliary aids and services on behalf of a person with a disability.

Will I be charged for the costs of reasonable accommodations and/or auxiliary aids and services?

No, you are not responsible for the cost of reasonable accommodations or auxiliary aids or services.

What are some examples of reasonable accommodations and auxiliary aids and services that DWI Education of Southeast Texas may provide?

  • Arranging for qualified sign language interpreters as necessary
  • Remote and onsite captioning
  • Subtitles for the Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing for online courses
  • Producing alternate formats of print materials in braille, large print, or in an electronic format that is compatible with screen reading software.

Can I attend the online class using a phone or tablet?

Yes. The online class taught via Zoom requires the participant to have a working camera and sound audio on either a phone, laptop/computer, or tablet; so that the Course Instructor can see/interact with the participant during classroom instruction. Either options will work.

When will I receive my Zoom link for my online Course?

You will be emailed additional information regarding how to log in along with the Zoom meeting link at least 2 days before the class start date.
